This European project seeks to improve patients' active management of musculoskeletal pain and the skills to find reliable information on the internet.
Digi4MSK, an ambitious initiative funded by the European Union, is launched with the aim of revolutionizing communication and knowledge about musculoskeletal health. This project, led by the San Jorge University together with various European collaborators, seeks to increase both public knowledge and the skills of health professionals in Europe.

About Digi4MSK:
Digi4MSK is an international collaboration funded by the Erasmus+ programme, committed to improving knowledge and skills on musculoskeletal health in Europe. This project seeks not only to raise the level of competence among health professionals, but also to empower the general population to adopt self-management resources for musculoskeletal pain, as well as skills to differentiate reliable information on digital resources such as websites, YouTube, or Instagram. This last aspect is of special interest to the population due to the exponential growth that health information (not always reliable) has experienced in digital media and social networks.
Thanks to the collaboration of European partners such as EFIC (European Pain Federation), SYNYO (Austria), VITECO (Italy), Irudigital (Spain), Aalborg University (Denmark), University of Limerick (Ireland), INP Formación ( Spain) and Galeazzi (Italy), Digi4MSK is strengthened by a network of experts and organizations committed to improving musculoskeletal health at a European level.
Project objectives:
1. Public education: Increase the knowledge of the general population about musculoskeletal health, promoting self-management strategies that reduce the negative impact of musculoskeletal pain. Digi4MSK will develop open-access digital educational resources for the public, including videos, training courses, interactive guides and mobile applications, to facilitate learning and adoption of proactive health practices.

2. Professional training: Reduce the skills gap among health professionals, improving their ability to apply evidence-based knowledge on self-management and education in musculoskeletal health through digital resources. The project will provide innovative educational tools and materials to support professionals in their daily practice, promoting a more effective and accessible approach to the treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. More than 60% of the EU population lacks adequate health knowledge, and 70% search for health information on the internet. Digi4MSK offers innovative and practical solutions to address these challenges, using advanced technologies and modern pedagogical approaches to ensure wide dissemination and understanding of musculoskeletal health issues.

Breaking down borders:
A crucial part of Digi4MSK is debunking the myths and misinformation circulating online about musculoskeletal health. The proliferation of misinformation can lead to ineffective or even harmful practices for patients. Digi4MSK is committed to providing accurate, evidence-based information, helping users make informed decisions about their health and professionals provide better care. On the Digi4MSK website (www.Digi4MSK.eu) you will obtain useful information to improve self-management and quality of life. You will also acquire tools to increase your knowledge as a health professional. We will wait for you!
